Are you looking for a way to spice up your Bible Study event where fellowship, fun, and faith intertwine? Look no further!
I’m thrilled to share some of my favorite games and activities to deepen connections and spark joy at your next gathering!
From tea parties to prayer breakfasts, these games will bring laughter, bonding, and an uplifting spirit to your group.
Let’s dive into how each game can transform your gathering into a memorable occasion!
First, if you have many newbies at your Bible Study meeting or even have people who tend to be a little shy, you’ll need an icebreaker game to get the event flowing!
I recommend starting with something like “Find The Guest”!
This game is a simple set of prompts describing various meeting attendees’ characteristics.
Participants go around the room searching for people who fit those descriptions, collecting signatures along the way.
Whoever gets the most signatures by the end of the event wins the game!
It’s so much fun and a great way to encourage people to talk to each other!
Another fun game to play with your Bible Study group is this cute little trivia game called “Guess How Many?”
Players receive a set of fifteen prompts asking them to guess how many of each item appear in the Bible.
Whoever answers the most correctly before time runs out wins the game!
On the answer sheet, I’ve included the verses where answers are located.
You can make this a deeper learning experience by locating the verses and talking about what you find!
It’s a great way to encourage connection, learning, and friendly competition.
Test your knowledge with your church group, women’s ministry, bible study, or tea luncheon with this fun and engaging scattered category game!
Guests are given several sets of categories where they must list three items in each category, starting with each of three letters.
Their job is to list an item for each letter and category as quickly as possible.
Whoever has the most answers the fastest wins!
This printable activity is a challenging and engaging way to encourage guests to mix, mingle, and connect.
Whether your group knows each other well or members are meeting for the first time – it’s sure to be a big hit!
Quick thinking and speedy responses are the keys to success in “Think Fast.”
This game encourages lively interaction and hilarious moments as guests race to list three items across categories before time runs out.
For your Bible Study meeting, naturally, you want to make your categories related to Christianity or themes surrounding your event.
You could choose categories such as “Biblical People,” “Fruits of the Spirit,” or “Worship Songs.”
This adds a fun element to the game, reinforces faith-based knowledge, and encourages deeper discussions about these topics.
The Bible Study Think Fast game I’ve created for you is based on general facts of the Bible, making it perfect for almost any occasion!

Bring the stories of the Bible to life with “Bible Study Charades.”
This game of charades makes a fantastic icebreaker, helping guests connect creatively!
One person at a time will go to the front or center of the group and take a card with a Bible character or event written on it.
They will then have to act out the character or scene without speaking, and the group must guess who or what they are.
This game can be played individually or in teams, and you can also add your own twist by having participants improvise a modern-day version of the character or story.

Finish the phrase is always a big hit at any Bible Study session or fellowship event!
First, one person is chosen to create the “answer key”, where they will write one word to “finish the phrase” based on each of several given words.
Once the answer key is created, all the other guests fill out their game cards with their best guesses as to how the answer key was completed.
Whoever gets the most correct answers wins the game!

Challenge your group with this “Bible Study Anagram Race”, where you unscramble letters from a larger word to make as many smaller words as possible in one minute.
Whoever has the most relevant words before time runs out wins the game.

Have fun with your Women’s Ministry, Bible study, or tea luncheon with this fun poetry game!
First, print either one copy and read the story aloud, then, read the story.
Where the story says “LEFT”, whoever holds the gift passes it to the left.
Where the story says “RIGHT”, the gift gets passed to the right.
Whoever holds the gift by the end of the story – wins! (And gets to keep it!)
This printable activity is a beautiful, memorable way to honor Jesus Christ! It encourages everyone to connect with their church community, family, and friends.
Last but not least, you may want to try this cute and fun Bible Study Verse/Scripture Matching game!
Give each guest a sheet and challenge them to locate where each scripture or verse in the Bible comes from.
There are multiple ways to play:
It’s tons of fun and can be as simple or challenging as you’d like – depending on how much time you allow to complete the activity.
If members know the Bible quite well, you can increase the difficulty by preventing them from looking in their Bible for answers.
Also, you can either encourage them to list the book of the Bible from which the verse comes or challenge them to list the book, chapter, and verse.
But this is an excellent educational activity and acts as a Bible scavenger hunt if you want to encourage guests to read more and learn about different scriptures they may not have known before!
